Fall 2008 Art Classes – Artist Workshop Wednesdays in College Station

“Artist Workshop Wednesdays” – are kicking off next Wednesday, September 17th from 6:30 – 9:30 p.m.
There will be four sessions (each consisting of three Wednesday classes) that will focus on different art mediums. - ALL SHELTERS IN THE BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION HAVE BEEN ACTIVATED
- HOUSTON IS EXPECTED TO EVACUATE BY NOON ON THURSDAY (TODAY)
- LOTS OF FOLKS WILL COME INTO OUR AREA
- BE PREPARED FOR ANYTHING!
- EXTRA DRINKING WATER IN PLASTIC CONTAINERS (FOR HUMANS AND PETS)
- CANNED FOOD
- FILL UP YOUR VEHICLE(S) “GASOLINE MAY NOT BE AVAILABLE IF WE GET HIT & POWER GOES OFF”
- KEEP RELATIVES PHONE NUMBERS HANDY
- HAVE ALTERNATIVE LIGHT SOURCES AVAILABLE (FLASHLIGHTS, BATTERIES, ETC.)
- USE YOUR GARAGE TO STORE THINGS
- BRING ALL PETS, POTTED PLANTS, LAWN CHAIRS, TABLES, TOYS, AND GARBAGE CANS INSIDE AWAY FROM THE STORM
- BE AWARE THAT TREE BRANCHES MAY BREAK AND STRIKE YOUR VEHICLE(S)
- BE AWARE OF POWER LINES IF DOWNED BY TREE BRANCHES
- REMOVE ANYTHING HANGING LOOSE THAT CAN BE DAMAGED BY STRONG WINDS, BRING INSIDE A SECURE PLACE.
